Restart Wage Subsidy

Restart offers support to employers who employ and retain eligible job seekers who are 50 years of age or older, and who have been unemployed and on income support for six months or more.

As part of the 2015-16 Budget announcement, from 1 November 2015 the length of Restart has been reduced so that an employer can receive up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) in assistance if you employ eligible mature age job seekers for 12 months or more.

Corporate Champions

The Corporate Champions programme supports large employers who commit to moving towards best practice in the recruitment and retention of mature-age staff (aged 45 years and over). Eligible employers receive tailored support and assistance valued up to $20,000 provided by an industry expert.
